Principlev1
Transition decision authority gradually through progressive
Transition decision authority gradually through progressive phases of transparency, consultation, bounded authority, and full distribution, with each phase building the infrastructure needed for the next.
Why This Is a Principle
Derives from Piagetian Equilibration Through Schema Dynamics (equilibration through assimilation/accommodation), Learning occurs when outcomes differ from predictions, (learning from prediction error), and Self-efficacy beliefs are formed primarily through mastery (self-efficacy from mastery experiences). The principle follows: if cognitive development requires equilibration, learning requires error signals, and efficacy requires success history, then authority transfer must be staged to allow adaptation and mastery at each level before progressing.
