Principlev1
Pair identity statements with minimal but consistent
Pair identity statements with minimal but consistent behavioral evidence to create self-reinforcing feedback loops between claim and action.
Why This Is a Principle
This derives from narrative identity (Human beings construct identity through ongoing narrative), self-efficacy building through mastery (Self-efficacy beliefs are formed primarily through mastery), and prediction-error learning (Learning occurs when outcomes differ from predictions,). It prescribes coupling declaration with evidence to create the reinforcing loop: statement generates behavior, behavior confirms statement, confirmation strengthens statement. Without behavioral grounding, statements become hollow affirmations.
