Principlev1
Maintain ability to explain what delegated systems are doing
Maintain ability to explain what delegated systems are doing in concrete terms—if you cannot articulate method, tradeoffs, and quality criteria, you have over-delegated.
Why This Is a Principle
Derives from Illusion of Explanatory Depth (self-assessment unreliable until forced to explain), Externalization Exposes Hidden Structure (externalizing exposes gaps in understanding), and Bias Blind Spot Asymmetry (people fail to detect biases in own judgment while seeing them in others). This prescribes explanation as a test for appropriate delegation level, which is derived from axioms about metacognitive accuracy.
