Principlev1
Implement scheduled automated comparisons between agent
Implement scheduled automated comparisons between agent specification and actual behavior — humans do not spontaneously notice gradual degradation.
Why This Is a Principle
This derives from Human memory under stress and cognitive load is unreliable (memory under load is unreliable), Behavior requires an initiating signal to occur at a (behavior requires initiating signal), and Neural Plasticity Enables Lifelong Automatic Learning (brain detects patterns without conscious instruction but is subject to normalization). The principle prescribes scheduled automation because normalization of deviance and incremental drift operate below conscious detection — only external scheduled comparison can catch gradual changes.
