Principlev1
Embed learning in systems, processes, and structures rather
Embed learning in systems, processes, and structures rather than only in individual understanding, to ensure persistence independent of personnel changes.
Why This Is a Principle
Derives from Extended Cognition Thesis (cognition can be distributed across external artifacts), Expertise as Domain-Specific Schema Organization (expertise does not automatically transfer), and Constructivist Epistemology (knowledge is constructed through engagement). Prescribes WHERE to embed learning - in systems not just minds - which is actionable guidance following from distributed cognition and the non-transferability of individual knowledge.
