Principlev1
Distribute critical functions across multiple redundant
Distribute critical functions across multiple redundant mechanisms at different scales rather than relying on single points of function.
Why This Is a Principle
Derives from Hierarchical Chunking Expands Capacity (hierarchical systems with stable subsystems are more robust) and the connectionist principle of distributed representation. This prescribes functional redundancy as a design strategy. It's general enough to apply across many contexts (cognitive systems, organizational processes, workflows).
