Why This Is a Principle
Derives from Human values are incommensurable—they cannot be measured on (genuine value tensions exist) and Two-Level Metacognitive Architecture (metacognition monitors and regulates cognitive processes). This prescribes a monitoring system for managing irresolvable contradictions, following from the axiom that some contradictions cannot be eliminated.
