Principlev1
Build the keystone behavior first and allow downstream
Build the keystone behavior first and allow downstream practices to emerge organically from the existence of captured material rather than designing comprehensive workflows upfront.
Why This Is a Principle
Derives from Habits as Context-Response Associations (habit formation) and Complex systems that work evolved from simple systems that (complex systems evolve from simple ones). The principle prescribes letting organizational complexity emerge from use rather than designing it preemptively. This applies Duhigg's keystone habit concept as a general design principle for cognitive systems.
